Adhesive Information for MASTER.AID® Products

1.    All MASTER.AID® products are made exclusively with HOT-MELT adhesive. HOT-MELT stands for hot-melting adhesive, which is solid at temperatures below 80° C and liquid at temperatures above 80° C. These HOT-MELT adhesives are free from solvents and thus, perfect for optimum compatibility with your skin. They contain no rubbers or resins and are hypoallergenic.

2.     Out of the HOT-MELT adhesive family so-called PRESSURE SENSITIVE adhesives come into use. Pressure sensitive means that the actual adhesive properties are activated by applying slight pressure during application. To ensure perfect adhesion to the skin, apply the dressing/plaster using slight pressure. The body temperature will then maintain the adhesive properties.

3.     PRESSURE SENSITIVE HOT-MELT adhesives have optimal adhesive properties, can be completely painlessly removed and leave no residue on the skin.
